In an unexpected turn at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ high-profile court trial, Kanye West (legally known as Ye) made a surprise appearance at the Manhattan federal courthouse on Thursday, June 13, drawing attention from media and fans alike.
Ye arrived at the courthouse shortly before noon, dressed entirely in white, and was seen entering the building alongside Christian “King” Combs, one of Diddy’s sons.
Although he was not listed on the official court guest roster, Kanye managed to spend approximately 35 to 40 minutes inside the courthouse, watching the proceedings from an overflow room via closed-circuit television.
Sources at the courthouse noted that Kanye’s presence was in a show of support for his longtime friend and fellow music mogul Diddy, who is currently facing multiple legal battles related to serious allegations including sexual assault, trafficking, and racketeering.
Though he did not enter the main courtroom or speak to the media, Kanye’s appearance reignited public interest in his relationship with Diddy, a bond that has been both collaborative and complicated over the years.
The two have shared a long history in the music industry, from producing for one another to navigating controversies on and off the stage.
