Karela United FC have announced open trials for aspiring footballers as the Ghana Premier League club looks to strengthen its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

According to an official flyer released by the club, the trials will take place from Wednesday, July 8, to Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Nobisco Park in Tamale.

The week-long exercise is open to players aged 15 years and above, providing young talents and experienced footballers with an opportunity to impress the club’s technical team and earn a place in the squad.

Training sessions will begin at 7:30 a.m. daily, with participants expected to report on time throughout the trial period.

The club encouraged interested players to “justify your inclusion” by showcasing their abilities during the selection exercise.

Karela United have consistently used open trials to identify and recruit talented players, with several participants in previous editions progressing to the club’s first team.

The upcoming trials form part of the club’s preparations for the new campaign as they seek to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season.
