The Joberg Foundation, in collaboration with The Blackstar Festival, is proud to announce the Kenkey & Seafood Charity Dinner, a cultural and philanthropic evening dedicated to raising funds for a groundbreaking housing project for autistic children.
The event will be held on 28th December 2025 at Sizzles Garden, Osu, Accra.
This special dinner blends Ghana’s beloved culinary heritage with a noble cause. Guests will enjoy a rich menu centered on Kenkey and seafood.
Symbols of community, resilience, and shared joy; while contributing to a project that promises dignity, safety, and belonging for children living with autism.
As a climax to the event, the JoBerg Foundation will be handing over a residential 1 bedroom facility as part of its goal to support the less fortunate in society.
“Every child deserves a home that nurtures their potential. Through this initiative, we are building more than houses; we are building hope,” said Marketing & PR Head, Cyril-Alex Gockel.
The residential facility reflects the Foundation’s commitment to inclusive infrastructure, ensuring that vulnerable children are not left behind.
By partnering with The Blackstar Festival, the initiative harnesses the power of culture, creativity, and community to inspire generosity and action.
The evening will feature:
•Live performances & Cultural Displays celebrating Ghanaian artistry.
•A curated kenkey & seafood experience highlighting local flavors.
•Impact storytelling on autism awareness and the housing project.
•Opportunities for guests to pledge support and become part of a lasting legacy.
Joseph Martey Marteye, CEO of Joberg Foundation, emphasized: “This dinner is more than an event, it is a movement. As we hand over this 1 Bedroom facility to support our own society, we must see that Together, we can transform compassion into concrete walls, roofs, and safe spaces for children who need them most.”
