Media personality and creative entrepreneur, Kofi Okyere-Darko together with two others have been appointed as Spokespersons for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the Creative Arts sector.
The other two are, actreess and Parliamentary Candidate for Tema Central Constituency, Ebi Bright, and Board Chairman of Ghana Music Right Organisation (GHAMRO), Rex Owusu Marfo, affectionately called Rex Omar.
The appointment follows the official launch of the NDC’s Manifesto for the 2024 general election on Saturday at Winneba in the Central Region.
Against this backdrop, the party has appointed various personalities as sectoral spokespersons.
The designated spokespersons have been mandated to speak to the key thematic areas of the NDC 2024 Manifesto.
For this reason, the trio would engage the media to further elaborate the party’s vision in the creative arts to Ghanaians.
As part of efforts to develop the creative arts space and enhance the economy in the sector, the NDC in addition to many others has promised to create and promote ‘The Black Star Experience’ as Ghana’s flagship Culture, Arts and Tourism brand to make Ghana a preferred tourism destination.
The Black Star Experience will undertake a year-round celebration in all the major entertainment, artistic and educational disciplines.
