Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Adoma Nwawani held a press conference at his residence in Oyarifa, Accra, on Wednesday, March 12, where he addressed the media for the first time since a shooting incident that resulted in serious injuries to his eye.
The press briefing aimed to clarify details surrounding the tragic event which occurred in December 2024 and also offer an update on his recovery, and share his emotional journey with the public.
In a moment of deep emotion, Kofi Adoma was visibly moved and broke into tears as he spoke, flanked by his wife and close family members for support.
His voice faltering, he recounted the harrowing events leading up to the shooting.
He added that he experiences frequent headaches after the incident.
“My head aches badly as I speak now and so I am doing this press conference to tell what actually happened in case the uncertainty happens,” the emotional Kofi Adoma told the press.
