Reports of renowned journalist and CEO of Kofi TV, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, allegedly being shot sent shockwaves across social media in recent hours. The news quickly went viral, sparking widespread concern and speculation. However, new details have emerged to clarify what actually happened.
According to an exclusive report byMyJoyOnline,Kofi Adomah’s injury occurred during a traditional funeral ceremony in Dormaa, Bono Region, last week. The injury happened when chiefs at the event were firing muskets as part of the funeral rites. While repositioning himself, Kofi Adomah was accidentally struck in the face by gunpowder from one of the discharged guns.
The impact caused severe damage to one of his eyes, leaving him blind in that eye, while his other eye suffered blurry vision.
Following the injury, Kofi Adomah received initial treatment in Ghana before being flown to Dubai for specialized care to attempt to restore his vision. A source close to him stated, “He’s currently in Dubai receiving treatment for the blurry eye, but it appears the other eye may not recover,” a source close to him revealed.
Despite the severity of his condition, reports indicate that Kofi Adomah is now stable and receiving the best possible care. Fans and loved ones continue to send their prayers and support for his full recovery.
