Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has launched his campaign towards the upcoming Parliamentary Primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come January 27. 2024.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah who is also vying to be elected the parliamentary candidate for the Asante-Akyem-Central Constituency, promised to deliver on his promises and ensure total development of the constituency when voted.
He said, he has a lot to offer his people and that the time has come for Asante-Akyem-Central Constituency to see great development and that development can come through his leadership as MP.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah also used the day to organize a free health screening for residents and delegates and offered free NHIS registration for 600 delegates.
The constituents received free medical screenings for a range of health concerns as they underwent examinations for blood pressure, malaria, hepatitis B, diabetes, blood sugar, eye and dental screenings, physiotherapy, and massage.
They were given medication to help treat the numerous illnesses that had been identified, and some of them were also directed to the closest medical facilities for additional care.
Over thousands were treated to face painting, bouncy castles, beverages, and snack packages while being served up danceable tunes, so they weren’t left out of the fun.
The exercise, according to Kofi Ofosu Nkansah was a part of his campaign activities to communicate with and engage his constituents.
He said it was his vision to ensure that his constituents have access to quality healthcare irrespective of their economic situations.
“This is to offer residents the opportunity to have their health checked on any bordering health issues and get treatment for minor conditions.”
He gave the constituents advice on how to take care of their health, including regular exercise, nutrition monitoring, and trips to the doctor.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked the MP for organizing the annual activity, stating that it had helped them to understand their health conditions so they could receive better care.
Residents and delegates expressed gratitude to Kofi Ofosu Nkansah and said they would be more than glad to vote for him as the candidate and subsequently the MP.
“The Asante Akyem Central is not a bonified property for anybody and we are ready this time round, to vote for Kofi Ofosu Nkansah as our MP,” they said.
