Asante Kotoko assistant coach Mohammed Obeng Hamza has completed the CAF License A coaching course organised by the Ghana Football Association.Kotoko confirmed the achievement in a statement on X, congratulating Hamza on completing the coaching programme and taking another step in his coaching career.Mohammed Obeng Hamza, assistant coach for the senior team and head coach for the Young Porcupines, has successfully completed the CAF License A coaching course organised by the Ghana Football Association. Congratulations to Hamza! the club stated.Hamza also serves as head coach of Kotokos Young Porcupines, giving him responsibility across both the senior and youth setups.The qualification adds to his coaching experience, having previously worked as part of Samuel Boadus technical team at Hearts of Oak. During that period, Hearts won the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup double in 2021 before successfully defending the FA Cup title in 2022.Hamza also played an important role at Kotoko during the latter part of last season. He ended the campaign as interim head coach after Karim Zito left the club, with his replacement, Prince Yaw Owusu, subsequently stepping down.His successful completion of the CAF License A course comes as Kotoko prepare for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season, with Hamza set to continue working alongside head coach Eric Tinkler.The qualification provides another boost to Hamzas coaching credentials as he continues to build his career with the Porcupine Warriors.
