Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku, has revealed growing unease within the squad over the teams underwhelming performance in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors have struggled to find consistency this season and currently sit sixth on the league table with five matches remaining.

Their hopes of mounting a late title challenge have all but faded, as they trail the leaders by 10 points, leaving supporters increasingly frustrated.

In an interview with Asempa FM, Duku admitted that the players are far from satisfied with their displays but remain hopeful of a turnaround.

“Asante Kotoko players are worried about their performance. They are not happy, but we are hoping that when a new head coach is appointed, things will be turned around.”

Kotoko will be eager to respond following a heavy 4-0 defeat to Medeama SC last weekend.

Attention now shifts to their next fixture against Dreams FC at the Tuba AstroTurf, where they will aim to get their campaign back on track.
