The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park will be closed to the public on Saturday, December 27, 2025, park management has said.
In a statement dated 10 December, the management explained that the closure is part of internal operational arrangements, during which the park will not be accessible to visitors.
The statement was signed by Dr Collins R. Nunyameh, Acting Executive Director of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
Members of the public, visitors and partners have been advised to take note of the closure when planning visits to the national monument.
Normal operations are expected to resume on Sunday, December 28, 2025, when the park will reopen to visitors.
Management has apologised for any inconvenience the temporary closure may cause and expressed appreciation for the public’s understanding and cooperation, saying it remains committed to maintaining the standards and service experience for which the park is known.
