Kenpong Football Academy have successfully secured the services of two seasoned individuals within the game’s realm.

Former Ghana international Laryea Kingston and George Amoako, previously a member of the Asante Kotoko management team, have joined the academy with their extensive experience, poised to make a significant impact.

This strategic move aligns with Mr Kennedy Agyepong’s (Kenpong) vision to bolster the technical and administrative structure of the academy. Their arrival adds to the recent recruitment of two expatriate coaches, who have contributed to refining the team’s capabilities since their arrival a few months ago.

“Both Laryea Kingston and George Amoako are tried and tested personalities, highly regarded across standards of the sport. Their inclusion undoubtedly elevates the academy’s standing,” Kenpong affirmed.

Elaborating further, Kenpong noted, “Laryea’s remarkable technical progression since his retirement from playing is evident to all. He has consistently demonstrated his potential over the years, and I firmly believe he will deliver exceptional results. I am confident in his capabilities.”

He continued, “George Amoako’s track record speaks volumes; I had the privilege to work with him in 1999 during the Herbert Mensah administration, and his dedication was exemplary. He understands my expectations, which makes his addition incredibly positive news.”

Dr Prince Pamboe, a prominent physiotherapist, also contributes his expertise to the well-endowed academy’s endeavours.

Evidently, Kenpong remain steadfast in his ambition to position the academy as a premier institution in Ghana and on the global stage. Located in Winneba, this modern-day academy has solidified its reputation among the country’s and world’s finest.
