Legendary Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono, celebrated her 80th birthday in grand style with a memorable event. Though she turned 80 in June 2024, the milestone celebration culminated in the launch of her book, *Unforgettable Maame Dokono*, on Saturday, September 7.
The event, held at Underbridge in East Legon, attracted a star-studded guest list, including some of Ghana’s biggest celebrities and dignitaries. Hosted by comedian DKB, the celebration saw a lively atmosphere where attendees paid tribute to Maame Dokono’s incredible contributions to the entertainment industry.
Among the notable figures in attendance were Nana Ama McBrown, David Dontoh, Prophet Kofi Oduro, Adwoa Smart, Abeiku Santana, Christine Doe Tetteh, and many more.
During the event, Prophet Kofi Oduro and other dignitaries bought copies of Maame Dokono’s book for a generous sum of GHC10,000, further honoring the iconic actress’s legacy.
