Ghanaian media personality and brand influencer Cynthia Tima Yeboah, otherwise known as Tima Kumkum, has revealed that marriage is currently the last thing on her mind following her separation from her second husband, Dominic Duodu.
Tima Kumkum made the revelation during an exclusive interview on Joy Prime’s Changes, hosted by Nikki Samonas, where she opened up about the end of her second marriage and whether she would consider getting married again.
Asked whether she would consider marriage for a third time, Tima said she could not predict what the future holds but made it clear that marriage is not something she is currently thinking about. According to her, marriage is “the last thing” on her mind at the moment as she focuses on herself and brings the current chapter of her life to a close.
Tima, who is 39 and will turn 40 next year, said she believes she is still young and therefore cannot tell what the future may hold for her. For now, she said her priority is completing the legal process surrounding the end of her marriage to Dominic. She revealed that she is waiting for the legal process to be completed and for her divorce certificate to be issued, after which she will be able to officially come to terms with the fact that the marriage has ended.
“As for that one, as I am sitting here, I don’t know. It is the last thing on my mind. I will be 39 next month and 40 next year. I believe I am still young, but we all don’t know what is ahead. But it is the last thing on my mind,” she said.
Tima’s comments come after she confirmed that she and Dominic have been living separately since April 1, 2025. when asked if she ever imagined that she would go through a divorce again, Tima responded, “Never,” emphasising that she never expected her second marriage to end this way, particularly because of her previous experience with divorce.

According to her, she had spent about seven years living alone with her children before meeting Dominic, who also had two children. She revealed that they dated, built a beautiful family together, got married in July 2023 and welcomed a son. However, she said things eventually did not work out.
“Nature happened. Things just didn’t work out. Who will get married and think that it will end the next day or something?” she said.
Although she has decided to speak publicly about the separation, Tima has maintained that she will not disclose the specific reasons behind the breakdown of the marriage, describing those details as private. She said she initially did not want to discuss the situation publicly but eventually felt there was no need to hide what people close to them already knew.
The award-winning presenter also acknowledged that she has faced criticism over the separation and is prepared for further public reaction following her decision to speak about it. She, however, noted that the healing process has been good.
Despite the end of their relationship, Tima praised Dominic as a responsible father and said both of them remain committed to caring for their son.
“He’s a very responsible man. I’ll give him his flowers for that,” she said.
Tima Kumkum’s revelation come after months of speculation surrounding her marriage, particularly after social media users noticed that she was no longer wearing her wedding ring. Although she had previously faced questions and speculation about the state of her marriage, she did not confirm the separation until now.
Tima has now revealed that she and Dominic have been separated since April 1, 2025, while the legal process to formally end their marriage is ongoing.
