Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has expressed his satisfaction following the arrival of Benjamin Arthur at the club.Speaking after the completion of the loan move, ONeill said he was pleased to add the young defender to his squad and believes Arthur can play an important role for the remainder of the season.”Im really happy that we have brought Benjamin to the club, and I think he can be a very important addition to our squad during the remainder of the season,” the Celtic boss stated.”He is an excellent player, with real attributes, good height, strength and speed and I know he can only help and improve the squad across the number of games which we will face over the next few months.”Arthur joined Celtic on a short-term loan from Brentford, running from February to June 2026, as the Scottish champions look to strengthen their options for the second half of the campaign.The defender is expected to provide depth and competition within the squad once international clearance is completed, after which he will be fully integrated into first-team activities.
