Veteran Nollywood actor, Harry B Anyanwu, has appealed to fellow actors and the general public to support his colleague, veteran actress Maureen Okpoko, who has reportedly been living with blindness for several years.
In a viral video, Harry B was seen visiting Okpoko in Enugu, where he made an emotional appeal for financial and medical assistance to help her access treatment.
According to the actor, although Maureen Okpoko has lost her sight, there is hope that her condition can improve if she receives the needed medical care and support.
“I am right here in Enugu with my sister of inestimable value, Maureen Okpoko. Nollywood, please, let’s reach out and support her. She’s blind, but she can restore her sight, all she needs is the right support. She’s blind, she can’t see, let’s support,” he said.

He further called on actors, actresses and well-meaning Nigerians to come together and assist the veteran actress, stressing that timely intervention could help her receive the treatment she needs.
Maureen Okpoko is known for her immerse contributions to Nollywood over the years, and Harry B believes collective support from the industry and the public can make a difference in her journey towards recovery.
