Renowned Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur Mawuli Gavor has been appointed as an Ambassador for the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) 2025, set to take place in Accra, Ghana, from November 21-23 during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Gavor announced the honour on his Facebook page, expressing his excitement for the world’s largest entrepreneurship event coming to his home city.

The festival, hosted at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and Resort, will bring together thought leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from across the globe to celebrate and foster entrepreneurial endeavors.

Organised by the Entrepreneurship Village under Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Organisation, GEF will feature networking opportunities, conferences, pitch sessions, awards, and a grand concert, showcasing Ghana’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Gavor, known for his roles in films like Ghana Jollof and Chief Daddy, brings his star power and business acumen to the role.

A former accountant with a degree in business management and finance from Franklin and Marshall College, Gavor has also made strides as a model and fitness brand co-owner, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit the festival aims to champion.

Mawuli Gavor’s involvement is expected to amplify the event’s reach, spotlighting Ghana as a hub for innovation and collaboration.
