The Board Chairman of Medeama SC, Dr. Tony Aubynn, has firmly stated that the club’s ambition is to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.

The Yellow and Mauve were unable to defend their title, which they lost to FC Samartex during the 2023/24 season.

Medeama SC will kick off their 2024/25 campaign by hosting Accra Lions on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the newly renovated Tarkwa and Aboso Sports Stadium.

Aubynn believes the new stadium will serve as a significant motivation for their title pursuit in its inaugural season.

“A club of our pedigree, when entering a Ghana Premier League season, has one primary goal: to win the title,” he told Asempa FM, as monitored by footbllghana.com.

“Now, we will be playing our home games at the new stadium. We also have a big challenge to prove that the new stadium will boost our motivation to win.

“Our target for the season is to win the Ghana Premier League title. We’ve done it before; finishing in the top four is good, but our primary objective is to win the title.”
