American actor and producer, Michael Bakari Jordan,  has opened up to the public, revealing a more vulnerable side of himself. The renowned actor recently shared intimate insights into the toll his professional endeavors have taken on his personal life during an appearance on the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast.

Acknowledging the weight of his responsibilities, Jordan expressed the inherent loneliness that comes with his level of success. “There’s a loneliness that I have. The responsibility that you have is isolating and the weight is isolating,” he confided, as reported by U.S. Weekly. “The worst part of that is the feeling like nobody really understands. Sometimes falling into the spaces of being alone, feeling alone.”

Despite being hailed as People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2020, Jordan’s relationship with romance remains complex. “I go back and forth between wanting partnership and then not knowing [who] the best partner for me [is],” he admitted.

In June 2022, Jordan publicly announced his split from model Lori Harvey, stepdaughter of Steve Harvey. Since then, he has remained single, reflecting on unexplored aspects of life. “There’s also a part of me that really hasn’t lived life yet…I haven’t traveled for fun,” Jordan shared. “I gotta start living. I’ve sacrificed, and I’ve zoned in for so long.”

Clarifying that he’s not actively seeking a relationship, Jordan emphasized that any potential partner would need to possess a deep understanding and a willingness to grow alongside him.
