Forbes Africa has named Black Stars forward Mohammed Kudus among their list of ’30 under 30′ for the year 2023 as part of honouring youthful but influential personalities in Africa.

The 22-year-old was honoured following his explosive form in the ongoing football season.

The former Nordjaelland player has served fans with captivating performances for both club and country contributing a total of 18 goals and five assists in all competitions.

Kudus has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in the Dutch Eredivisie for Ajax while posing as Ghana’s best player at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He scored twice and assisted once for the Black Stars despite the team’s early exit under Otto Addo.

In other competitions, he scored four goals in the UEFA Champions League for Ajax and assisted an extra two.

Another Ghanaian to be recognised by Forbes Africa was a creative director and videographer Emmanuel Whajah.

“These young achievers are starting from scratch to build businesses and brands that are totally solutions-oriented. For this coveted ninth annual edition of the FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 list, our newest class of multi-tasking multi-hyphenate entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders show how they will grow human capital, put a dent in issues and lead Africa’s future – on their own terms,” read the publication on ForbesAfrica.com.
