The highly anticipated launch took place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Nissan Showroom, Silver Star Tower, Airport City, Accra.

The launch event brought together key stakeholders in the automotive industry, corporate leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, media representatives, and automotive enthusiasts for an exclusive first look at the all-new Nissan Patrol. The occasion reinforced Japan Motors’ position as a leader in the premium SUV segment in Ghana.
The Special Guest of Honour, H.E. Hiroshi Yoshimoto, Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, graced the event, adding prestige and significance to the unveiling.
In his welcome address, the Managing Director of Japan Motors, Mr. Salem Kalmoni, stated: “The Nissan Patrol has long stood as a symbol of prestige and capability in Ghana. With the all-new Y63, we are redefining expectations by delivering a vehicle that seamlessly blends power, luxury, and advanced technology.
