Music producer Hammer, whose real name is Edward Nana Poku Osei, has spoken about his short-lived first marriage on D-Black’s show “Uncut.”
Hammer revealed the marriage only lasted five months because they realised they weren’t compatible.
He explained they had a child together before getting married and felt pressure to get hitched to avoid societal judgment.
“We weren’t that in love but I thought things could work.” They had a small, traditional ceremony.
Unfortunately, the lack of a strong romantic foundation proved too much to overcome. “We quickly figured out it wasn’t going to last,” Hammer said.
However, on a positive note, they decided to end the marriage amicably and remained good friends. “It wasn’t meant to be romantic,”
Hammer concluded, “But we make great friends, especially because we co-parent.”
