Losing one’s main source of income is not a joke, especially in these challenging times of economic crisis and rising cost of living.

According to Wode Maya, his wife, could not hold back her tears when he lost access to his YouTube channel which has over a 1.2 million subcribers.

His wife, also a vlogger, could not take the unfortunate news and cried while the channel was lost.

The good news is that Wode Maya is back on YouTube and he is thanking everybody for the support.

The popular video blogger, had his official YouTube channel with over 1.2 million subscribers hacked.

As confirmed, Wode Maya’s account hacked was taken off on Thursday 23rd Feb.2023

A Google search on Thursday, February 23, 2023, showed that his over 1 million subscribers had been taken over by a hacker called “Microstrategy.”

The notorious hacker deleted all of Wode Maya’s videos, which were over 400 in number.

While the renowned YouTuber made no comment on the matter while his channel was down, he says he sent several messages to YouTube to prompt them about what was happening.

Good news came barely 48 hours after, when the channel was fully restored by YouTube.

Wode Maya, in his latest video, thanked his YouTube strategic partners and his fans folɔr their support, adding that the hackers were able to bypass his Gmail two-step authentication to take over his account.

Wode Maya, born Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon is one of the most influential Ghanaian YouTubers.

The 32-year-old’s YouTube vlogs promoting the African Continent have made a huge impact on people’s lives.
