The host of Onua Showtime,Nana Ama Mcbrown has denied claims that her husband, Maxwell Mensah, abuses her.
There have been rumors on social media that McBrown had to travel outside of Ghana for surgery on her arm after her husband allegedly pushed her down the stairs.
These rumors also claimed that McBrown was not happy in her marriage.McBrown has denied all of these claims. She said that she is not the type of woman who would tolerate being abused by her husband.
She also said that she has had to deal with many untrue stories about her in the past, and that she has told her family and friends to ignore anything they hear unless it comes from her directly.
McBrown’s mother even called her after hearing the rumors about her husband abusing her. McBrown said that she told her mother that she would never allow herself to be beaten by her husband, and that she should ignore the rumors.
McBrown’s denial of the abuse allegations comes after a recent increase in reports of domestic violence against women in Ghana. In 2022, there were over 10,000 reported cases of domestic violence in Ghana.
