The Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has supported the Teshie Children’s Home with an unknown amount of cash to assist their operations.
The donation forms part of his relentless effort to put smiles on the face of people, especially the vulnerable.
According to Dr. Opoku Prempeh, these children deserve to smile and enjoy the parental care their fellow children receive at home.
The donation included assorted items to cater for the home.
The Teshie Children’s Home has over 50 children under its care ranging between the ages of two and twenty-five and this donation is expected to help cater for their needs like proper accommodation, education, food and shelter.
The management of the home praised Dr. Opoku Prempeh for his benevolence and philanthropic character, calling it a deed worth remembering and emulating.
