Canada-based Ghanaian band NATAB enchanted the Jambo Spaces at Tse Ado in Accra on Saturday, January 6, 2024, with a vibrant listening session for its debut EP, “Peace & Love.”

This independent Ghanaian Alternative band, an enchanting fusion of diverse African sounds, had music enthusiasts, artists, and industry professionals swaying to their unique rhythms.

Drawing inspiration from legends like The Wailers, Aṣa, and Osibisa, NATAB is more than just a band; it’s a collective. Three singer-songwriters, a producer, a guitarist, a creative director, a culture curator, and a manager – “The Asafo Brigade” – come together to forge a musical tapestry that celebrates the vast richness of African music.

The listening session at The Jambo Spaces wasn’t just about showcasing “Peace & Love”; it was an introduction to NATAB’s soul, its message, and its ambitious goals for 2024.

As attendees grooved to the band’s infectious Afro-fusion beats, they glimpsed into the passionate hearts and creative minds driving this rising group.

Nana & The Asafo Brigade (aka NATAB) is an independent Ghanaian Alternative band, based in Vancouver, Canada. At its core, NATAB represents a fusion and celebration of sounds across the diverse musical landscape of African music, with influences from great legends like The Wailers, Aṣa, and Osibisa.

In its current form, NATAB exists as a collective, comprising 3 singer/songwriters, a producer, a guitarist, a creative director, a culture curator, and a manager together forming; “The Asafo Brigade”. Together, this team was behind the band’s debut EP, Peace & Love, which is available on all streaming platforms.
