I had a good spell on loan at Newport last season and hopefully I can hit the ground running here. His previous experience could prove particularly useful as Northampton look to benefit from his pace and versatility in attack.Opoku is capable of playing across the forward line and arrives with further confidence after featuring for Leicesters first-team squad during pre-season.He scored during his involvement with Leicester and says he is now fit and ready to play following his summer preparations. His time at Newport also means Opoku already understands the physical demands and competitive nature of League Two, reducing the need for a lengthy adaptation period.
