Hearts of Oak coach Nebojsa Kapor has called on the club’s supporters to turn out in their numbers for Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Heart of Lions, insisting their backing gives the team added strength. The Phobians will host Heart of Lions at the University of Ghana Stadium hoping to return to winning ways after losing 1-0 to newly promoted Debibi United last weekend. The defeat ended a three-match winning run and denied Hearts the opportunity to maintain their momentum in the title race.Kapor says the supporters remain an important part of the club’s progress and has expressed his appreciation for the atmosphere they create whenever they fill the stands. The coach was particularly pleased with their presence, singing and encouragement, adding that the players value the support they receive.”I’m very happy when I see a full stand and how they are coming in their numbers. We are all happy when we see them, and we are all happy when we see their smiles, their singing and really supporting us in the best way they can,” he said.Kapor believes the relationship between the team and its supporters can make a difference as Hearts seek to get their campaign back on track. He has therefore urged fans to maintain their commitment and help the team secure a positive result against Heart of Lions.”We are all together, and I’m calling them to come in their numbers and support us because I’m sure together we are stronger,” he added.Hearts are third on the table, one point behind Medeama, and will be keen to avoid another slip as they pursue the league title.
