Reports that the embattled Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias ‘Chairman Wontumi’ case at the Kumasi Traditional Council (KTC) has been quashed on the instructions of the Asantehene is untrue.
Opemsuo Radio, a radio station owned by the Manhyia Palace, put up a public notice today, Thursday, January 25, 2024, that the matter will surely come up before the Kumasi Traditional Council on Monday, January 29, 2024.
“Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako, known as Wontumi and co will appear before the Kumasi Traditional Council on Monday, 29th January 2024,” the radio station said in its public notice.
Those to appear alongside Wontumi are Maurice Ampaw, a host on Wontumi Media and confessed friend of the Ashanti Regional Chairman and the management of Wontumi Media.
