Security has been beefed up across Nigeria, the world’s 6th biggest democracy and the economic powerhouse of Africa.
A visit to Bwari, a town which is about 40 minutes drive from Abuja, the capital, shows that electoral materials have arrived for onward dispatch to the other 750 polling units in the area.
This does, to a large extent, indicate that all is set for the showdown among the three leading presidential candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC; Abubakar Atiku, PDP; and Peter Obi of LP.
