Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of a new spiritual movement called the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT).
In a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, she described the initiative as an interdenominational altar and a “global movement of consecrated believers” focused on experiencing what she called the power, purity and presence of God. The movement is based on the biblical passage Mark 2:22, which speaks of putting “new wine into new wineskins.”
According to the statement, NWPT seeks to create a place for believers who are “hungry for genuine revival, fire and transformation.” Its stated vision is to encourage a global awakening of Christians who will help establish what it described as the Kingdom of Christ on Earth. The movement also says it intends to promote prayer, revival, apostolic training, evangelism and spiritual freedom through the work of the Holy Spirit.
The announcement stressed that NWPT should not be viewed as a conventional church. Instead, it was described as “an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God.” The movement said it would hold weekly fellowship meetings every Friday at 18:00.
The development follows a series of public changes in Dikeh’s spiritual life. In recent months, she has signed many social media posts as “Ada El-Roi” and has become active in Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD prayer community. In December 2025, she publicly testified that she had been delivered from smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation and anger issues.
