The Northern Regional Football Association Division Two League resumes today, Friday, January 3, 2025, after a short break following the conclusion of the first round. The league, which has showcased intense competition across its zones, paused briefly after eight weeks of continuous action.

As the first round concluded, Northern Zaytuna FC emerged as the leaders in Zone 1 with an impressive 18 points. Zone 2 saw a fierce battle for supremacy, with Northern Wunpini and Tamale Utrecht tied at the top with 11 points each. Zone 3 had Kumbungu Binbiem FC standing out as a runaway leader with 13 points, while Nalerigu United led Zone 4 with 16 points.

In Zone 5, Bole United accumulated 12 points to secure the top spot, while Buipe Scorpions dominated Zone 6 with 16 points. Sankara Nationals and Steadfast FC ruled Zones 7 and 8, amassing 19 and 16 points, respectively, to close the first round on a high note.
