Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has taken his campaign tour in the Greater Accra region to the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency where he has held a series of stakeholder meetings to sell his vision for the country to the constituents.
Addressing the electorates at Mpeasem, Adenta, Frafraha and Madina, Dr Bawumia stated that the NPP government has a proven record of implementing initiatives that bring the needed development and these gains will be consolidated when he is given the nod in the December, 7 polls.
His message to the electorates is to vote for a visionary leader who has the capacity to bring the needed transformation. He added that so far two point one million jobs have been created although more needs to be done.
Dr Bawumia began his campaign tour from the Santana market at Tesano to Okponglo traffic light then to Mpeasem where he held a stakeholder’s engagement with the Clergy, and Chief Imams among others. Dr Bawumia later on made whistle stops at the Central Mosque at Nmaijor and then to Botwe School junction where he interacted with drivers, traders, and passers-by before holding another stakeholders meeting at Adenta-Frafraha.
The NPP flagbearer in all his engagements noted that Ghana as a country needs a leader who is innovative, consistent and hard-working to transform the country and that he had passed the test as Vice President to move to the next level as President and propel Ghana to a new height under the fourth industrial revolution.
Aspiring MP for Adenta Constituency Akosua Asaa Manu in a brief remark urged the constituents to consider the infrastructural development brought to the constituency and vote for the NPP. She mentioned that the Adenta Constituency has benefited from the Agenda 111 project.
The MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, expressed gratitude to her constituents for the confidence reposed in her. She touched on some of the developments brought to the area.
Dr Bawumia will hold a community connect at the Bawaleshie park.
