There had been hope he could join the squad fully after the international break, but his recovery has taken longer than expected.Trainer Ralf Kettemann explained that the setback was difficult for the player. There was a setback in rehab. That was also very demanding for Njami mentally, because nothing had indicated it beforehand, Kettemann said.Awortwie-Grant will not be involved in Saturdays home match against VfB Stuttgart. Paderborn now expect him to join team training during the next two to three weeks, with the target being integration by the end of October. He must give the go, Kettemann said, stressing that the medical staff will decide when the 1.93-metre defender is ready to return. The centre-backs absence has been a setback for Paderborn, who will hope he can make a full recovery and strengthen their defensive options once cleared.
