Veteran Nollywood actor Don Brymo Uchegbu passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 56.
The actor, who was known for his roles in traditional and epic movies, had been battling high blood pressure and partial stroke for some time.
According to an insider, Don Brymo fainted on a movie set in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on June 10. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with high blood pressure and partial stroke.
He was discharged from the hospital on June 12 and moved to his hometown in Akwa, Anambra State, to be treated traditionally.
On June 15, Don Brymo fell and died at his home. His final words were “Odogwu has turned to vegetable,” which he said in Igbo.
Don Brymo’s death has come as a shock to many in the Nollywood industry and his fans. He was a well-respected actor who had a long and successful career. He will be remembered for his talent, his charisma, and his dedication to his craft.
Don Brymo is survived by his wife and four children.
