MTN FA Cup final MVP Brandon Antwi Sarpong has completed a permanent transfer from Nations FC to Libyan Premier League side Al-Madina SC following an impressive 2025/26 season.

The 21-year-old winger leaves the Ghana Premier League after playing a key role in Nations FC’s successful FA Cup campaign, earning the Most Valuable Player award in the final.

A naturally left-footed attacker, Brandon is capable of operating on the wing as well as in a central attacking role.

He made 28 league appearances during the just-ended season, scoring once while establishing himself as an important member of the Nations FC squad.

The Sky Blues confirmed the transfer in a statement on their official Facebook page, thanking the youngster for his contribution to the club.

“Nations FC can confirm the permanent transfer of Brandon Antwi Sarpong to Al-Madina SC of the Libyan Premier League.

“We thank Brandon for his time with the club and wish him every success in this next chapter.”

The move marks Brandon’s first venture outside Ghana, with the talented winger now set to begin a new chapter in Libya as he looks to continue his development and make his mark in the North African league.
