Otumfour Is Above The Law, Even Supreme Court Can’t Sanction Him – Kwaku Manu Drops Bombshell As He Addresses Afia Pokua’s Comments

In a recent video, Kumawood actor and show host, Kwaku Manu, asserted that the Ashanti King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, holds a position beyond the reach of the law.

According to Kwaku Manu, neither President Nana Addo nor the Supreme Court has the authority to sanction the Otumfuo.

His remarks come in response to recent controversial statements made by media personalities Afia Pokua and Mona Gucci during the “Biribi Gyegye Wo” show on Onua TV.

The two criticised Otumfuo for remaining silent as some of his people allegedly hurled verbal attacks at the Dormaa Chief, Nana Agyemang Badu I, and his people. Afia Pokua expressed disappointment, urging the Ashanti King to call his people to order.

Afia Pokua’s comments sparked backlash, with many Ghanaians condemning her for disrespecting the Asantehene. In his reaction, Kwaku Manu maintained that the Asantehene is the most powerful figure in Ghana.
