Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum has expressed his satisfaction with the club’s new signings, describing them as “technically good players.”
The Porcupine Warriors have been active in the transfer window, reinforcing their squad after a disappointing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season that saw them part ways with 18 players.
Speaking to Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, Ogum praised the new recruits’ technical abilities. “I think they are very good players. Technically, they are very good. They are able to exhibit the basics in the game, their advanced technical characteristics, and are comfortable on the ball. They are fast, strong on the ball, and very confident as individual players and as a group,” he said.
Ogum believes these new signings will significantly improve the team’s performance in the upcoming 2024/25 season. “I think they are going to give us a new face with respect to our performance, so I am happy we have gotten them,” he concluded.
Asante Kotoko is currently preparing for the new season, hoping to impress their supporters with better results.
