Parliament has approved an On-Lending agreement between Government and the Development Bank of Ghana, (DBG) for an amount of 170 million Euros to support the establishment of a financially sustainable Development Bank.
This comes on the heels of a finance contract agreement between the government and the European Investment Bank for the amount for the establishment of DBG.
Patrick Yaw Boamah, Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee said the sustainability plan is critical to the country’s fiscal policies.
The Minority Leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson said the terms of the loan will see DBG paying back to the government.
