A pastor has been arrested in connection with a shocking incident involving the alleged attempted burial of a five-month-old baby at Abofrem in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
The suspect, Richmond Akwasi Frimpong, who is the Head Pastor of the Anointed Grace Prayer Ministry at Kuffour Camp, was apprehended following the disturbing incident that has left residents in disbelief.
According to eyewitness accounts, the pastor and an unidentified accomplice were seen around 11 p.m. at a refuse dump under suspicious circumstances, carrying the infant.

One of the eyewitnesses, Winfred Agbah, recounted how he became alarmed by the unusual activity and decided to intervene.
Upon approaching the scene, he discovered that the baby was still alive and appeared to be on the verge of being buried.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the Abofrem community, with many residents expressing outrage and disbelief over the alleged actions of a religious leader.
