Popular Ghanaian singer Francis Kofi Blewusi Dedzi popularly known as Pastor Kofy is finally set to host his debut concert.
Dubbed, Ghana’s Praise Experience, the concert will come off at the Oil Dome, Royal House Chapel in Accra, on Sunday, November 3, 2024.T
he event is expected to be an unforgettable night of worship and praise, bringing together an impressive lineup of old faces such as Pastor Josh Laryea and Kwaku Gyasi.
Speaking to the press at the launch, Kofy mentioned that Ghana’s Praise Experience seeks to bridge the gap between believers and non-believers through worship and praise.
The upcoming event will go a long way to further the gains of Pastor Kofy, who shot to fame in 2017 following his impressive performance as a contestant on the Mentor 2 music reality show where he placed second.
Since then, Pastor Kofy has maintained a relatively low profile on the commercial music scene but continues to pursue his passion quietly.
Energetic groups like Team Eternity Ghana, Soul Winners, and Band Fra will bring a fresh and vibrant sound to the stage, alongside talented solo artistes including Gwendolyn Sackey and Alexandra Aboagye.
To add an extra layer of excitement to the whole show, the organisers of the concert have promised a surprise female guest artiste, whose identity will be revealed soon.
