Legendary Ghanaian musician Pat Thomas, also known as the “Golden Voice of Africa,” gave a nostalgic performance at his Highlife concert at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The 76-year-old musician wowed fans with flawless performances of his timeless songs, including “Sika Ye Mogya,” “Megyedzi Su,” and “Gyae Su.” He also displayed his steady dance moves and amazing vocals to the live band tunes from the Bessa Band.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who attended the concert, was mesmerized by Thomas’ performance and applauded his stagecraft.

The night was filled with captivating performances from other music stars, including Kwabena Kwabena, Okyeame Kwame, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Akatakyie, KK Fosu, Kofi Nti, and Daughters of Glorious Jesus.

The Highlife Night was also graced by some high-level personalities, including former President John Agyekum Kufour, former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, boxing legend Azumah Nelson, NPP Flagbearer hopeful Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and other dignitaries.

The concert was a fundraiser for Pat Thomas’ School of Music, Arts, and Culture project in the Ashanti Region, which is estimated to cost about $6.5 million.

The event was a huge success, and it was clear that Pat Thomas is still a force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian music industry. His performance was a true reflection of his talent and legacy, and it was a night that will be remembered for years to come.
