Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah also known by the stage name, Bisa Kdei in an interview with the Recording Academy otherwise known as the GRAMMYs disclosed that plantain chips is the real deal and keep him moving whenever he is on tour.
Appearing on the Herbal Tea and White Sofas, the Brother Brother hitmaker said tea, specifically mint tea is often his companion when he is on tour but does more plantain chips when it comes to snacks.
“On my tour ride, I like mint tea and also like some snacks and I don’t mind doing plantain chips.
“I am actually a fruit person and I like mango and bananas a lot but with the plantain chips, it is very very common and you can find it in the street wherever you go and it is just beautiful on the street.”

He added that in the absence of tea, apple juice comes in as a perfect substitute for him.
“If I have tea, I am okay but if I don’t have the tea, I like apple juice because it calms me down as well and also, I need something sweet in my throat.”
Bisa Kdei however disclosed that his love for plantain chips grew with him from his childhood days when his parents gave him and his siblings a treat anytime they were returning from work.
“When my mom and dad go to work and is returning home, they always buy us plantain chips, and even at home, my mom will make it for us and so it is something that has been with me since I was a child.
Many Ghanaian social media users have gone online to celebrate the interview as win for Ghana which must be pushed.
