The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into an incident that occurred at the premises of Metro TV in Accra, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Reportedly, some police officers and a court bailiff stormed the premises of Metro TV to interrupt a live broadcast over a long-standing debt owed to Vodacom.

The alleged debt, which dates back over three years, has triggered legal action, leading to the issuance of a writ of execution permitting the seizure of assets.

Sources indicate that the dispute is a private business matter unrelated to politics, contrary to speculations circulating in the public domain.
