The police service has cautioned Democracy Hub demonstrators for what they described as “Unghanaian act” during their protest.
A statement from the police asked the protesters to desist from the act to maintain law and order.
“The Ghana Police Service has monitored attempts by the Democracy Hub demonstrators to frustrate and put impediments in the way of commuters and other road users.
“We are urging the demonstrators to desist from such uncivil, unpatriotic and unghanaian acts depicted in the images and videos and allow the general public to go about their businesses without any hindrance.
“We would like to assure the public that more Police officers have been deployed across the city to manage the traffic and ensure security, law and order.” The statement said.
