Ghanaian amateur boxing prospect Precious Akai Nettey says he is determined to win a medal for Ghana at the 2026 Commonwealth Games as preparations intensify ahead of the competition.
The promising boxer recently returned from a training tour in France, where he underwent intensive sessions aimed at improving his technique and overall performance in the ring.
Following the trip, Nettey has now joined Ghana’s national boxing team, the Black Bombers, at their training camp in Winneba.
Officials within the camp say the young boxer has adapted well to the training programme and continues to respond positively as preparations progress.
Nettey is regarded as one of Ghana’s rising boxing talents and is expected to play a key role for the Black Bombers at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The national team remains in camp as boxers intensify preparations in pursuit of medals for Ghana at the upcoming international event.
