President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revoked the appointment of 24 District Chief Executives with immediate effect.
In a letter signed on Friday, February 2, the President explained that “In accordance with Article 243 (3) b of the Constitution, and section 20 (3) (b) of the Local Government Act, 2014, (Act 936), I write to inform you that I have revoked the appointments of the following persons as District Chief Executives.”
“I will, respectfully, request that you give immediate effect to my directive,” he aded.
