President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, for an official visit at the invitation of His Excellency William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya.
President Mahama will be the Chief Guest at Kenya’s Jamhuri Day celebration on Friday. This is a national event that commemorates the country’s independence and showcases its rich cultural heritage.
Mr Mahama was welcomed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after midnight Kenya time by Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary, H.E. Musalia Mudavadi, alongside other senior government officials.

President Mahama exchanged pleasantries with the welcoming delegation.
Following the celebrations, he will be hosted to a luncheon by President Ruto.
He was accompanied by Dr. Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President and Mr. Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations.
President Mahama is scheduled to depart Kenya on Saturday.
