Ghana forward Prince Kwabena Adu has urged the Black Stars to remain focused after securing a place in the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars advanced to the knockout stage for the third time in their history after finishing third in Group L with four points, following a win over Panama and a draw against England. Despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to Croatia in their final group match, Ghana booked a last-32 clash against Colombia on July 3 in Kansas.
Taking to Instagram, the Czech-based striker celebrated the team’s achievement and called for greater determination in the knockout rounds.
“Proud of our team, our staff, our fans, our country… this qualification is for all of us! One step further, let’s keep pushing,” he wrote.
Kwabena Adu, who missed the Croatia match, will now shift his focus to the Colombia encounter as Ghana prepare in Rhode Island for the crucial fixture.
