QNET, a 26-year-old lifestyle and wellness-focused direct selling company, has launched its “QNET Against Scams” campaign in Accra. This six-month initiative is designed to educate the public and raise media awareness about fraudulent activities that misuse the QNET brand.

The campaign, which will be rolled out across television, radio, online news portals, social media, print media, and billboards, is set to cover key regions, including Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Western, Ahafo, Volta, Northern, and Bono.

Speaking at the launch, held at the QNET Training Centre operated by Bosumtwi Industries Limited, QNET’s local business partner in Ghana, Chief Communications Officer for the QI Group, Ramya Chandrasekaran, condemned the activities of unscrupulous individuals exploiting the QNET brand for fraudulent purposes, announcing that the company is ready to collaborate with security agencies to clamp down on these perpetrators.

“Despite our ongoing efforts, misconceptions about QNET persist in Ghana. Unauthorized individuals have been exploiting our brand name for illegal activities, deceiving people with false promises of jobs or travel opportunities abroad. Our campaign aims to aggressively combat this issue through public education,” she stated.

Ms. Chandrasekaran outlined the primary objectives of the campaign. These include raising public awareness about QNET’s legitimate business operations, educating the public on identifying and avoiding scams that misrepresent QNET, collaborating with law enforcement and government agencies to prosecute offenders, and reinforcing QNET’s commitment to transparency and ethical business practices. “QNET is about empowerment, not exploitation. And we are fighting back against these scams,” she added.

Echoing this sentiment, Managing Director of Bosumtwi Industries, Col. Rashid Salifu, stressed the importance of collective action, saying, “We must unite to fight against scammers who are defrauding innocent Ghanaians. Awareness is our most powerful tool in this battle.”

QNET urges the public to actively participate in this campaign by reporting any suspicious activities falsely representing the company. Reports can be made via WhatsApp at +233256630005 or email at network.integrity@qnet.net.
