Senator Ned Nwoko and actress Regina Daniels have reignited their public marital feud, with new claims involving drug use, harassment, family arrests, and allegations of abuse.
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) late Saturday, Nwoko accused Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, of repeatedly harassing his household, including a 4 a.m. confrontation at the family compound about a month ago.
“Just four weeks ago, I woke up around 4 a.m. and realised Regina was in my room on the phone. She was clearly high… I told her to leave, and my driver dropped her off. Thirty minutes later, Sammy came to my house shouting and demanding that I come downstairs to face him,” the senator recounted.
He said security footage showed West being removed from the premises and claimed the visits were “aggressive and disruptive,” especially when he was away.
“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff,” Nwoko stated.
The Delta North senator also alleged that he had supported West financially, funding his university education, buying music equipment, and renting an Abuja apartment , while transferring over ₦125 million to Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, within two years.
Regina Daniels Responds
In a swift response posted on Instagram Sunday morning, Regina Daniels admitted to past drug use but dismissed Nwoko’s account as a distraction.
“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us? The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs’ to create a perfect media story,” she said.
The actress accused Nwoko of encouraging intoxication “for sexual reasons” and attempting to isolate her from family and friends through intimidation and arrests.
“You always wanted me high because you said I was ‘sexier’ that way. You liked me wild and romantic, exactly how you wanted me to be,” she alleged.
“You want to arrest everyone around me so that I’ll have no one left , until I’m broken enough to come back to you,” she added.
Daniels further claimed there was no court-registered marriage between them, describing the later stages of their relationship as “non-consensual.”
“No matter how much you think you spent on me, it can never equal the value of my prime years and the career I sacrificed. For the record, we were never legally married. Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force,” she stated.
The latest outburst follows weeks of speculation about Daniels’ troubled marriage to the senator, who had earlier denied accusations of domestic violence.
Nwoko attributed the strain in their relationship to what he described as the actress’s “battle with substance abuse” and said she needed rehabilitation.
The couple, once seen as one of Nigeria’s most high-profile unions, have now gone public with allegations that paint a deepening picture of conflict, mistrust, and mutual accusations.
